Body Depth
The space between the top and the back of the guitar will change the tonal shape. Shallower bodies have tighter bass and more emphasized mids, larger bodies will have bigger bass with more projection. All sizes feature McPherson’s beautiful sound and unending sustain.
Featured Builds
The East Indian and California Redwood build is a McPherson Classic. The warm overtones of the Redwood top combine perfectly with the deep tonal coloration of the rosewood, resulting in a perfect pairing for a light fingerstyle touch.
This combination is a favorite among many happy McPherson owners.
Macassar Ebony has a deep yet focused low end. When paired with the warmer of the spruce tops, it creates an inspiring playing experience. This is a versatile combination great for both fingerstyle and strumming.
Cocobolo is a very coveted tonewood, producing a very clean yet full lower register. With a Bearclaw Sitka top, this is a visually striking build, with distinct note to note separation.
