“If you want an acoustic guitar that sounds as great on stage as in the studio, a guitar that you can play for hours without fatigue, a guitar that instantly becomes a part of you when you play, this is it! These [guitars] are classic works of art, my McPherson is by far the greatest instrument I have ever owned.”

John Ivins

Singer, Worship Leader, and Live Performer.

“Everywhere I play somebody asks, without fail, how I get such awesome sound from my guitar. Most people think I have some programmed effects that produce that sound. I tell them it’s a McPherson and that’s the sound they make naturally! The sound of these guitars is truly amazing live. And, in the recording studio, there’s nothing like it.”

Kyle Jacobs

“My Koa McPherson is truly a work of art… Not only is it aesthetically beautiful, but sonically beautiful as well… As a songwriter/producer in Nashville, I believe great instruments can inspire great songs. I can pick up this guitar and know that inspiration is just a couple of strums away.”

Jonathan Jordan

Singer, Songwriter, and Worship Leader.

“Starting with opening the case I was impressed. The McPherson is just as amazing to play as it is to look at. The combination of the quilted Maple back and sides with the Spruce top produces a great sound that really resonates whether the guitar is plugged in or not. By far the most incredible guitar I’ve ever played, and McPherson Guitars as a company has impressed me just as much as the instrument they’ve produced.”

Graham Kendrick

Singer/songwriter; his album What Grace was UK

“One guitar with many voices, a truly inspirational songwriting tool, tonally rich and responsive to every mood.”

Julia Knight

“I’m honored to be endorsed by McPherson guitars. The quality and workmanship is second to none and each team member is fully dedicated to making a superior instrument. I was hooked from the time I first played in the studio. As a singer song-writer my guitar means so much to me!”

Casey James

19 Recordings/BNA Records artist Casey James first emerged on the national scene with his third-place run on Season 9 of American Idol, but Casey had already been making music for more than a decade when he took his mom’s advice to try out for the hit series. A native of Cool, TX, James grew up surrounded by music; both his parents played guitar and sang, as did other family members, and Casey was playing guitar and performing throughout his young adulthood. His wide-ranging influences include such artists as Merle Haggard, Vince Gill, ZZ Top, and Bonnie Raitt, with a mix of ’70s rock, blues, and outlaw country all helping to shape his style. Following his success on Idol, Casey set his sights on Nashville, touring with Sugarland in early 2011 and playing his own shows while working on his upcoming debut album, set for release in 2012. Casey is currently giving fans a taste of what to expect on the album with the bluesy, goodtime feel of the first single, “Let’s Don’t Call It a Night,” co-written with Terry McBride and Brice Long.

“McPhersons sound great. They play well, and look beautiful. I’m extremely impressed with the reliability of the guitar. Through heat, cold, rain, bus, plane, the guitar is always true.”

“I never imagined wood, strings, and little shiny pieces could inspire and motivate me the way my McPherson has. Knowing what craftsmanship and pride was built into the guitar makes it like a bit of treasure; I cherish it! It’s a beautiful instrument and I’m honored to be an endorsee! I’ll continue making music as long as I have breath, and I’m certain this guitar will be my companion and friend along the way.”

Artist Interview

Denise Jones

Performing and recording artist with “Point of Grace.”

“My McPherson is not only beautiful, the design and attention to detail are amazing! It’s the most incredible sounding instrument I have every had the opportunity to play.”

Dominique Jones

26 Year old Dominique Jones is actually no stranger to the world of Gospel Music. Dominique, often referred to as “Doe,” continues to play a key role in her family group, foreverJONES, the Grammy & Stellar Award Nominated family band. To say that Dominique is unique is tantamount to using the word big to describe the Grand Canyon, it just falls short. One cannot appreciate the glorious beauty that God created until you’ve stood at sunset overlooking the vast landscape.

Dominique started playing guitar at a very young age without any user manuals or instructions. This explains why she continues to play guitar, left-handed, upside down like Jimi Hendrix, only she does not restring the guitar. Other musicians are fascinated to watch her play, especially as she strums backwards and unwittingly plays chords in reverse. Not only is she an accomplished guitarist, she plays piano as well.

Aaron Kelly

Florida native Aaron Kelly is not your typical teenager. In fact, at 17 Aaron has already become the youngest contestant to ever reach the top 5 on the popular show, American Idol. He participated in a national tour, appeared on other national television shows The Ellen Degeneres Show, the Late Show with David Letterman, and Access Hollywood.

“I love everything about my McPherson guitar. It is an amazing feeling to walk into a room, see my McPherson sitting in the stand, pick it up, play and hear the incredible sound it has.”
