SIGNATURE INNOVATIONS
Explore the key innovations Matt McPherson implemented, that make the McPherson unlike any guitar you have every played.

OFFSET SOUND HOLE
Believing that traditional acoustics could be innovated, McPherson introduced a revolutionary Offset Soundhole Technology. The placement of the sound hole allows for a lengthened and uninterrupted soundboard, amplifying vibration in the center of the guitar top. This also produces more volume and clarity in the ears of the player.

CANTILEVERED NECK
Every McPherson guitar features a Cantilevered Neck, which is not glued or connected to the top of the guitar, but instead floats above it. This design allows the soundboard area underneath the fretboard to vibrate freely, which increases the sustain of the guitar.

OVERPASS / UNDERPASS BRACING
McPherson’s unique Overpass/Underpass Bracing System creates a larger, more even space for the top to vibrate. The soundboard’s braces cross each other but never touch each other, and are not glued together. This frees the braces to vibrate independently while still lending structural support and maximizing soundboard vibration.

CARBON REINFORCED NECK
The McPherson Carbon Reinforced Neck is praised for its incredible strength and stability and is built around the largest ans stiffest carbon fiber truss rod ever used on a guitar. Attached to the body with a triangulated heel design, it stabilizes the neck and virtually eliminates the need for neck adjustments.

THE PURSUIT OF EXCELLENCE
Every McPherson guitar is hand-built in the U.S.A. with meticulous attention to detail.
From the cantilevered neck to the offset soundhole and proprietary bracing, each feature serves one purpose — to let the tonewood sing with purity and power.
